May was a great month for FCotW2, with huge progress. Not only did I draw and integrate some additional backgrounds for one of the optional locations, I also finished scripting, animating and polishing the intro + first few rooms/puzzles of the game. This means the first part of the game is practically finished, just a few optional hotspot descriptions are missing. As a side node, even the very beginning of FCotW2 dwarves everything I did in chapter 1.
If the current progress is any indication, I'm well on track to have a fully playable version of the game by the end of the year, which would then mark the start of beta testing and almost garantuee a release of FcotW2 by mid-2014 at the latest. Fingers crossed!
But now it's time for me to pack my things as I'm away over the long weekend for a big old wedding. See ya all in June!
