A completely game-unrelated post today, but it's something I want to share this with you, dear readers. Earlier today Peter Jackson live-blogged the last-ever shooting day of The Hobbit via Facebook. As an avid fan of Tolkien's work and all of the Middle-Earth movies, this were a few quite emotional hours even for me, who I'm thousands of miles away from New Zealand, on the other side of the world.
Now I'm breathlessly looking forward to the next two movies and all the extended editions and making-ofs that will undoubtedly come our way. In the end, it's art like this that inspires me and makes me do what I do, nibbling away on my own huge (gaming) projects, however long it takes. No matter how big or small, it's all art and (hopefully) important to someone somewhere sometime.
Goodybe for now friends, and look out for a game-related update very soon. Here's hoping for a productive weekend!
